Definitely a great purchase! I don’t have to use as often as I was using my previous chapstick. Lips feel soft, smooth and not greasy or sticky. I’m on my second one & feel like this will be my go-to for years to come.

So far, so good (it’s been 1 week, and I for sure notice a huuuuge difference). I moved from the South to the Midwest, and talk about sudden chapped lips!!! I was applying Vaseline (the sticks) about 20+ times daily, no exaggeration. My lips would absorb the Vaseline….but I kept buying more sticks cuz I thought that brand was the best out there. I tried many brands, and Vaseline worked the “best”. However, I was tired of constantly applying it. I have sticks in my car, night-stand, bathroom, kitchen, living room, in jackets, at work….it is ridiculous. I came across this La La Lips balm on IG (an ad), knew I’d have to pay for tax and shipping if ordered on there, so I checked out Amazon, and voila, here it is! So I ordered it (same price, but no tax, no shipping – except my annual Prime cost). I noticed on day 1 that I applied it only 4 times…huge difference than 20+ times daily. Then as the days have progressed, I am applying it less frequently. I did NOT want to pay $20 for this stuff….but I am a fan now and will cont. to pay whatever it costs cuz it works. It WORKS……and Vaseline did not. Nor did any other brand I tried. I was fearful that my lips were in this cycle of “addiction” and needed the Vaseline. And I feel that actually occurred b/c applying 20+ daily was insane! Anywho, I am happy, very happy, I found something that is natural in ingredients and that WORKS!!

I used only this for a month. I do not think it is a miracle worker. But it’s a good chapstick and I enjoyed using it.

I purchased Yolo and have also tried 2 of the non tinted lip balm. This is an awesome deeply hydrating lip balm. I like the little bit of color that Yolo imparts, it’s a flattering MLBB type hue. If you suffer from chronic dry, chapped lips, give this a try!

I really like the product for what it does. Can’t say I like the flavor, but worth that as a tradeoff for what it does and how long it lasts. I like the tint as well. Not wild about the width of the container and how the product goes on. With the tinted balm it tends to go on past your lips.

I have super dry, cracking, peely lips 90% of the time which are completely at the mercy of the environment and weather. Even with drinking lots of water or using a humidifier, their natural default state is just the worst and has been my entire life. I have tried so many balms over the years and oh my god, this is The One.
Before trying LaLa, the only products I ever had really good lasting success with eliminating my problems are Lush’s Mint Julips lip scrub and Honey Trap lip balm. They are fantastic and I love them but have a super strong scent which my partner could not physically stand and would get a headache from. The scent could be detected instantly whenever I put it on when nearby and would linger for many hours. I tried so many other products but that is the only time before LaLa’s lip balm that I had moisturizing effects actually lasted for hours and felt like my lips were actually nourished “within” if that makes wense. (Softlips balms were the next best thing I found that didn’t cause a headache.)
LaLa’s was actually recommended to me and at first the I was hesitant because I never used skin products with these active ingredients before and the prices was the highest I ever would pay for a lip balm, but I was desperate so I gave it a go. And I am so glad I did because it has been actually life changing for the state of my lips. The first time I tried it, after just a few swabs I got that, nourishing, almost buttery-like hydrating sensation from LaLa’s!! Just like Honey Trap but instead with the most lovely faint lemon scent that doesn’t cause headaches! And it lasts for HOURS. I need lip balm terribly when I go to sleep so I don’t wake up cracking and bleeding and with LaLa’s, I wake up and my lips actually feel hydrated and silky soft with no issues. It is crazy how well it works! If I skip a night they are pretty bad the. next morning, but overall using it every night for 7 months has also improved their overall default state too which I never thought would happen! I rarely need to use it during the day unless things are really bad but if I do, same thing: instantly hydrated, feel nourished, and that sensation lasts pretty much the entire day.
For all the positives, this balm as absolutely worth it and I can accept it is more pricey because it is basically skin care but for my lips, which deserve actual helpful care too!
(Also I bought mine back in December and use it every night before bed and STILL have quite a bit left! I personally don’t think you need to use a lot at once to get the effects so to all the reviews saying it lasted two weeks, that really seems like user error or smack reviews. It seems more like a treatment instead of a “apply 10+ times a day because it wears off right away” product.)
